Report: Putin, Trump can have phone conversation on weekend

WASHINGTON, Jan 27 (PRIME) -- Russian President Vladimir Putin can talk with his U.S. counterpart Donald Trump by phone this weekend, NBC correspondent Hallie Jackson said in a post in her Twitter blog on Friday citing a source in the presidential administration.

“News: President Trump and Vladimir Putin are expected to talk by phone this weekend, per administration source. 1st call since inauguration,” Jackson said.

Russian presidential spokesman Dmitry Peskov said earlier that the date of a conversation had not been scheduled.
